Get ready for Lewisburg Flavor, a premier 11-day celebration of the best small-town food scene in America! From February 26 to March 8, 2026, downtown Lewisburg transforms into a foodie’s paradise. This inaugural event brings together the city’s top restaurants and chefs for a week-plus of exclusive menus, hands-on workshops, immersive wine and spirit tastings, and prix-fixe menus designed to showcase our award-winning, nationally recognized culinary scene.

The Wild Bean - Tom Yum Soup with tofu or chicken, Panang Curry with tofu or chicken, Spicy cucumber salad

Join us at the Humble Tomato for an Italian wine tasting to kickoff the first annual Lewisburg Flavor event! We will offer a tasting of Prosecco, 2 whites and 2 reds on a tour of Italy!

FRIDAY, February 27

Wine & Cheese Tasting at Bella The Corner Gourmet
Bella the Corner Gourmet is proud to announce they are partnering with The Flavor of Lewisburg Food and Wine Festival with a wine and cheese tasting on Friday, February 27, from 5pm to 8pm.

Two wines will be presented: A Foris Pinot Noir from Oregon and a Twin Island Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. Paired with these wines will be two soft cheeses: A Camembert from Denmark and a Petit Camembert from France. Come joy the fun and get pampered with wine and cheese at Bella!

Master the art of visual storytelling by learning to manipulate natural light, composition, and styling so your photos make everyone hungry. This workshop covers essential camera settings and post-processing techniques to help you transform simple meals into professional-grade food portraits. Facilitated by Josh Baldwin. @ CVB

Mushroom Foraging Workshop at the Visitors Center
Explore the rich fungal diversity of the Appalachian ecosystem by learning to safely identify, harvest, and prepare a variety of choice wild mushrooms. This immersive workshop guides you through the region's dense forests to master essential skills like habitat recognition, using spore prints for verification, and distinguishing edible species from toxic look-alikes.

No Bake Cookies for KIDS! Workshop at Visitors Center
Get ready for a mess-free kitchen adventure where kids learn to whip up delicious, chewy treats without ever touching a stove or oven. This energetic workshop focuses on hand-mixing skills, measuring basics, and teaching kids that making no-bake cookies is as fun to build as they are to eat. Facilitated by Barbara Lee Ford and November Simons of Corn & Flour Bakery @ CVB

Introduction to Creating the perfect Cocktail At The General Lewis Inn

Master the fundamentals of balance by learning the golden ratio of spirits, sweets, and sours to create consistently delicious drinks every time. This session covers essential techniques, such as shaking versus stirring, proper muddling, and professional garnishing to elevate your home hosting game. Winter Thaw Out Party At The Briergarten

Join us Saturday, March 7 from 12–4 PM for our annual Winter Thaw Out Party, in conjunction with Lewisburg Flavor, a Food & Wine Event. Enjoy an afternoon packed with fresh Salty Bottom Blue oysters, warm chili, sweet cornbread, and all your favorite beverages. Our friends from Salty Bottom Blue Oysters from Gwynn’s Island in the Chesapeake Bay — bringing their own low-salinity, sweet oysters raised in the calm, shallow, brackish waters of the Bay’s creeks and river mouths.

No ticket required to attend. Just come hungry!
